Project Investigator: Nhlanhla Mkhize

Nhlanhla MkhizeNhlanhla Mkhize is a lecturer in the School of Psychology at the University of Natal. He played a crucial role in the design and implementation of a program of services to remote areas of KwaZulu Natal. This program utilized the railway system to transport health, psychological and social services to rural villages. Railway train cars were equipped as offices and clinics and would bring care givers to remote areas to provide services for 2-3 day time periods. His research interests also include the development of psychological assessment techniques for use with mainly black adolescent pupils and socio-cultural psychology.
