GPY Interactive Map
The GPY website is integral to the dissemination and sharing of information related to each collaboratory. The material being presented must be current, relevant, accessible, and useful to visitors. One new way we have done this is by adding an Interactive Project Map page.
On the Map page, visitors can access a global map and a map of Michigan, both of which indicate the various locations of collaboratory projects. By maneuvering the mouse, a site visitor can learn which project occurs in that location as well as in what other cities the project’s partners are located. If the visitor would like to find detailed information about a specific collaboratory, a click on the location of the project will take the user to that project’s GPY Collaboratory page.
This addition to the GPY website is helpful to those searching our site for information, and provides a more complete and holistic view of GPY’s global impact.
About GPY
The Global Program on Youth is establishing broad-based groups of scholars, policy makers, and service providers who are working together to address critical and timely issues related to children and youth.
This innovative program is addressing the translation from research to practice in an effort to make research more accessible and applicable to policy makers and practitioners.
